Licensing questions
Is there a subscription option?
No, and there never will be for the core app. You buy a version, you keep it working forever.
What does "per major version" mean?
Your €14.99 buys Diskoteca 1.0 and every 1.x release after it — 1.1, 1.5, 1.12, all free. If a Diskoteca 2 ever exists, it's a separate purchase with a discount for v1 owners. The same model Sketch and Affinity use.
Do I need an account?
No. The trial starts on first launch with no signup, and activation is a license key you paste into Preferences. Your email is only used to send you that key.
How does the trial end?
After 14 days Diskoteca goes read-only: your library and podcasts stay browsable, but ripping, importing, and syncing wait for a license key. Nothing is deleted, ever — your music is plain files in plain folders.
Who handles the payment?
LemonSqueezy, acting as merchant of record. They handle VAT/sales tax worldwide and issue proper invoices — useful if the company is paying.
What's the refund policy?
