Nothing — and that's by design. Your library is standard audio files in standard folders with standard tags. Delete Diskoteca tomorrow and every other app, device, and backup tool still reads your collection perfectly.

Diskoteca talks to the network for exactly three things: MusicBrainz lookups (disc and metadata), Cover Art Archive downloads, and podcast RSS feeds you add. Your library stays on your disk. There's no account, no cloud, and no analytics on your music collection.

No. The library index lives on your Mac. Acoustic fingerprinting for duplicate detection runs locally.

Sandboxing. The App Store restricts direct access to CDs, USB drives, and arbitrary folders — the exact things a library manager needs. Diskoteca is sold directly, but it's still signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized, so macOS verifies every build.
